About Varicose Veins
Varicose veins are gnarled and enlarged veins, which can occur more commonly on the legs. Around 30 to 50 per cent of the adult population is affected by this condition.
Together with medical media Cuprum we created a longform article about varicose veins. In this project, statistics are supported by interviews with a phlebologist and an orthopaedic specialist.
there is a lack of visually appealing and clear information about medical issues which can be easily accessed by people without medical backgrounds in Russian media. I aimed to create a comprehensive article, which covers all aspects of varicose veins and explains the condition in detail.
In this project, I collected all information, conducted interviews, drew illustrations and created the layout by myself. You can watch a showreel of the project in this video.
